Allevi8 1.12

Publisher Description

Regular practice of mindfulness, meditation, and other mind-body techniques have proven therapeutic benefits for patients challenged by mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as physical health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, MS, Parkinson's. etc. The benefits include the alleviation of stress, anxiety, pain, and other symptoms such as nausea and fatigue. A comprehensive compilation of the clinical research into these benefits is available at https://www.allevi8.net/research.html.*

Allevi8 brings together an authentic set of practices for the issues commonly associated with a significant health challenge: Managing stress & anxiety, managing pain, managing emotions, managing sleep, healing support, getting the most out of treatment, and finding meaning & purpose in challenge. There is a common recommended daily practice that is useful for all these issues, plus a choice of specific practices for each issue. The practices have been collated from teachings that come from an unbroken meditation-based lineage spanning thousands of years, as well as extensive experience in clinical settings gathered over recent decades.

In addition to the practices, the app invites you to fill in a simple monthly survey of how you are personally tracking across 9 indicators: pain, tiredness, nausea, drowsiness, lack of appetite, shortness of breath, depression, anxiety, and well-being. It then provides you with feedback regarding how these indicators change in relation to the frequency of your practice.

Allevi8 comes to you free of cost, courtesy of others who have benefited from the practices.

Material is indicative only
The app allows you to access recorded and textual material and product information ("content"), which together provide support for your meditation practice. Information is also provided about the practice of meditation in general, including overviews of some of the research into the health benefits of meditation. While the content makes reference to the beneficial outcomes of regular meditation, the practice of meditation is highly personalised and the outcomes of meditation may vary significantly from person to person. While it is hoped that the Program will contribute to a sense of wellbeing in its users, it is an introductory program only and Imageryworks makes no representations as to the health benefits of the Program. You should consult a doctor in relation to any health concerns you may have.
